• The All-Embracing Scope of Death

People usually think that when they die, the world will still go on. This is foolish.

You ARE the world. When you die, EVERYTHING is taken. The entire dream is over. Nothing stays, because in truth there’s nothing beyond YOU.

Not only do all specific people go, but also everything we usually take for granted – like colour, flowers, humans, birds, sound, thinking, manyness, sense.

God/Reality/Consciousness is Eternal. But how It’s manifesting isn’t. NOTHING at all is permanent. EVERYTHING dies, including what we consider the most basic.

So don’t take anything for granted. Appreciate it all while it’s here.

  • Face Your Death Repeatedly

A man must face his death every once in a while in order to grow in life profoundly.

There’s nothing like death that immediately brings to the surface what’s most meaningful to you. There’s nothing like it to light a fire under your ass.

There’s two good and safe ways to face death:

    • Visualization. REALLY feel into the fact that you’re going to die, see it clearly in your mind’s eye. What comes up? Do you wish to do things differently in your life?
    • Psychedelics. When you go deep enough, you will face your death. It’ll be the real deal.

Never cause any harm to your body. Don’t put yourself in real danger. And with psychedelics, do your research & be extremely responsible and cautious. Never do anything stupid that you’ll regret later.

  • You Are an Illusion

You don’t exist. It’s all happening without your input.

  • Seize the Energetic Opportunities

Whenever an energy/motivation arises in the mind to do something, it’s an opportunity. If it’s beautiful, take it on! Don’t let it go to waste.

Opportunities are fleeting. Seize them while you have the chance. Learn to act quick in life, so that opportunities don’t pass you by.

A man appreciates the preciousness of opportunities and so is vigilant and ready to act on them.

  • Advice You Give Should Best Be Embodied

Often times we advise people things we’d like to internalize ourselves. We think that something is true and that we should be that. But maybe it’s not true. You don’t know until you actually embody it.

You can have misguided ideas about what’s true and insist on internalizing something false and stupid. And then also go and advise that to others. You can have truthful ideas as well, of course – but the main point is that you can’t know their truth until you live them out.

It’s best to stick to Reality. What are you actually doing? Does it work? Have you confirmed it? You can base your advice reliably on that.

  • Steerage Will Take Advantage of Your Unawareness Sometimes

Sometimes the beautiful flow of right action will bypass your conscious awareness and start doing its thing before your analytical mind even has a chance to react. And it’s a good thing.

It’s important to be mindful, but you don’t have to be too aware always. To the point where you’re not letting yourself enter flow. Sometimes too much awareness can actually be an impediment, especially if you often intend to control and limit what’s being expressed.

Be conscious when it’s time for it, otherwise give yourself away. Best case to what’s quiet but real – Steerage/Guidance. :)

  • If You Want to Feel Stuck, Accept It

Sometimes you can feel stuck and realize that you don’t even want to unstuck yourself. You feel resistance towards it altogether. You’re tired, you’re stuck, you just don’t know what to do.

I understand this state. I’ve been in it myself many times. It can feel like there’s no way out because you feel like you don’t even want to resolve it.

First, you can accept that you’re in that state. How about you relax and just love it? At least for a moment – see it for what it is and accept it. Get the feeling that it’s okay and that you don’t need to change it.

Second, this whole situation is probably making you feel frustrated. In that case, express the frustration to Reality/God and cry it out. Vent the entire thing – you can even scream into a pillow. Do it until there’s nothing left. You will probably feel much lighter after you do so.

Give yourself space. You will get through it.

  • Frustration When Your and Reality’s Wants Don’t Align

Sometimes frustration will arise when Reality works through you in a different direction from what you’d prefer.

I understand that feeling. It can be difficult sometimes.

The solution is to surrender this frustration to Reality/God and cry it out. It’s something you can reliably do. You have to understand that this feeling is a pain/weakness that you can vent to God about and let yourself be helped with. It’s not anything “righteous”, not something to act upon.

Don’t boil it inside too long, or it will get out of control. Express it to God until it’s no longer and be free of it.

  • All Hopes Die in God (And That’s Good)

Give all your hopes and wishes to Reality/God, and let them die. Express them, cry them out until they are no longer. Let them go.

Don’t cling to your hopes and what “you” want or think you should. Surrender it and let Steerage/Guidance do its work. Allow the Reality of You to shine and work through you in a way that’s better than you could ever imagine.

What you truly want will always be fulfilled – because it’s true. Relax, don’t insist and be open to the process. Let your limited hopes die and see how perfection unfolds.

  • Be the Divine Soldier for Reality

In a way, a man’s mission is to serve Reality. To obey the Self and surrender in the action performed by Guidance/Steerage.

When you’re in that flow, what genuinely wants to be expressed in the moment is being done so. Stay surrendered courageously and don’t interrupt. Your input is not needed – just your consciousness and devotion.

Ultimately, you’re serving Yourself. Be curious about who you are, treat this divine mystery with utmost respect, and serve it – instead of questioning, judging and interrupting it. Accept Yourself. Fulfill the duty to the best of your ability, like the divine soldier that you are.

  • Do Your Best Work in the Morning

Different people are most clear-headed and productive at different times during the day. I get that.

But there’s something powerful about doing your most meaningful work first thing in the morning. Before you go to your day job, for example. It’s great when you know for the rest of the day that your purpose work is done for now. And you’re excited to go to sleep and wake up early to get it done the next day.

Whatever feels most significant to you, doing it early in the day is probably best. It’s been really inspiring me lately.

  • Enter the State You Want to Be In Now

Whatever state you want to be in, you can enter it in this moment. You don’t need external circumstances to be aligned for you to do it.

My friend and I always laugh at how we’d sometimes rush to reach a place (eg. a park) where we want to relax at. Completely absurd! Ego dynamics at their finest.

    • If you want to relax, start relaxing now. You don’t have to be at the park or wherever to enter the state.
    • If you want to work, start working now. Even if you’re not in a conducive environment, just start doing what you can. Maybe e.g. you don’t have a laptop with you that you use for work, but you have your phone – start planning and thinking things through. When you enter the state, you find a way to do what you want by any means.
    • If you want to feel love and closeness from meeting your partner and feel your heart open, enter the state now. It’s not really about seeing the person in physical reality. It’s energetic. Flip the switch in your mind right now, which you can do. Don’t wait for external circumstances to happen.

Entering your desired flow of energy is always possible for you. Just do it now.

The beauty of energetic reality is that shifts can happen instantaneously. Understand this property and harness it. It’s magic.

  • Don’t Be Desperate for Things

What you want comes to you most easily from a place of lightness. From not caring about getting it.

When you’re desperate, you’re not being magnetic. If you notice yourself in such a state, try to surrender it. Know that it is literally counter-productive. If you really want it, then stop caring about it so much! Send out your intention into the world and then genuinely let it go. Enter a state of being actually happy in the current moment, with what is.

“If you’re nothing without it, then you shouldn’t have it.”

  • Be Skeptical When You Intake Information

Question what you hear and read, especially from sources you trust and like. It’s easy to “question” something when you don’t agree with it from the start.

People/sources are always a mixed bag. Even if you agree with half of what a source is saying, take notice of the other half. Don’t just ignore it and read or watch for “the good stuff”. Pay attention to specific points you disagree with and make a note of them in your mind.

When reading a book, for a long time I just underlined what resonated with me and put exclamation marks next to it. Now, I also put question marks next to what I’m not sure of or plainly disagree with. It’s good practice to be skeptical when you intake information, even if you like the source.

  • The Desire to Forget Something but Keep It

Mind sometimes wants to hide away a thing it’s attached to that is resisted somehow, but won’t throw the thing away – it wants to still have access to it. Distance something, yet have it within reach.

It’s a funny dynamic. To wish to forget something, but still truly remember it. An intermingling of resistance and attachment.

I was made aware of it when I noticed myself stash away some things related to my last relationship in the deepest drawer. Once I became conscious of it, I took these things and put them out on front. To face resistance and difficult feelings. Soon, there might come a time to face the attachment and throw these things out for good – I will go wherever intuition guides me.
