  • Most of What You’re Doing Is (Probably) Fake

Fakeness is not being rooted in truth. Fake action is that which doesn’t come from You = Steerage = God = Truth. Instead, you act on energies that you’re convinced by and are essentially your gods. For more context on that last part, see post On Energetic Belief.

Fake action is not wrong per se. It is what it is. Most of it probably must be lived through (at least to a degree) to become conscious of its fakeness. So no judgment, just try to be honest with yourself.

The more conscious you become, the more authentic you will be. Because with rise in consciousness, energetic convictions are dispelled. So you follow less of the energies that aren’t God.

For me, the process of deconstruction of an energetic belief (= halting my conviction in the energy and seeing its fakeness) involves crying it out and a strong intention to be free of impurity. Essentially, if I want to be light, happy and a clear channel for God / Steerage / Reality, I must let go of “my wants” – which are energetic convictions in disguise. When “you” want something, it really comes from a strong belief that you want it; It’s these energies attracting you and you being convinced that they are good. But these energies aren’t likely your True Will. It’s not how Reality would unfold if you were surrendered.

Another very big part of deconstruction for me is eagerly jumping into action even if it’s fake in source. Again, most energies probably must be lived through to an extent to see through them clearly. What’s important though is reflecting on the action. Without introspection, it’s likely impossible to deconstruct an energetic conviction you have. Memories from action are your grist for the introspection mill.

It should also be said that there are gradations to fakeness. Some energies are purer, lighter and reflect truth better than others. But they still aren’t the silent truth itself. You should probably let go first of the heaviest, most draining energetic convictions imprisoning you. Then work your way up – until there’s nothing left.

  • Birthday Love

Today was my birthday. I felt very loved by myself and people close to me. I’m grateful to be alive.

My deepest wish is to always love Reality for whatever it is. Embrace what is now and go from there. I believe that is what happiness is.

Thank You for how You are now. Thank You for being. I’m sorry I can’t love You always. I wish it could be otherwise, but then again, that’d be not accepting You for what You are once more. So to hell with that – just move through me.

    I love You.

  • Staying in Surrender Is Dying

When you stay in surrender, you’re continually dying. Embrace this process. Let it happen.

The death of you is not binary. It’s gradual. There’s always more death to be “had”.

Even if it’s excruciating sometimes, continue being surrendered. Don’t come back from the dead. We have enough of the undead around already. ;)

In death, You are Alive. Following Steerage is following Life itself.

  • You Are Not a Good Host to This Body

If you care about Reality and how it unfolds, surrender and intend to let Steerage work through you instead. It’s going to be better for everyone – including yourself.

It takes humility to admit that you don’t know what’s best and how to be good. That you’re not a good host to this body. That in fact you’re being an obstacle and impeding the process.

It takes courage to face the recognition that the best thing you can do is “die”. (Psychically – never harm your body.)

Accept it. Nothing to be negative about. Perceiving this as “sad” or “degrading” is just the ego’s reaction, which you can cry out and let go of.

    Through surrender, you are redeemed.

  • Stop Seeing People as General Sources of Truth

To agree with someone means to hold the same belief as them. But when you’re listening to someone (intellectuals, pundits, reviewers, etc.), how much of what they’re saying do you actually agree with, and how much are you intaking as new belief and not even thinking about whether you agree or not?

This can usually happen when you’ve determined in the past that you agree with a person on some things, and then you’ve made a mental leap towards seeing them as a general source of truth. But it’s a dangerous game. The fact that a person has some right beliefs about one thing doesn’t mean they will have quality beliefs about another.

It’s unwise to consider people as sources of truth. It’s best to 1) make yourself conscious of who you’re seeing as that and 2) get rid of that idea from your mind. Stop mindlessly consuming content from your perceived authoritative sources, assuming that you don’t need to be skeptical of what they’re saying. Don’t let your guard down. Question what you’re hearing.

  • Sharing Truth at Different Levels of Insight

Allow yourself to be inconsistent in the level of truth you’re speaking from.

It’s okay. Allow yourself to be multifaceted. Have the space in your mind to hold multiple different perspectives at once. I think having this ability to hold contradictory perspectives and see the truth in each is a mark of high intellect.

And don’t be ashamed of expressing them both, even if something you’re sharing today contradicts what you shared yesterday. Don’t worry about judgment from others and wear your openmindedness proudly.

(But also, dedicate time to reconciling perspectives in your mind. Be aware of what the contrast is and which perspective is higher consciousness. This develops further wisdom and greater judgment.)

  • Being Energy vs Steerage Centered

You can be energy or Steerage oriented, and depending on which one it is, your perception and experience of life will vary.

With the former one, it feels like motivations are coming from inside, being aspects of your psyche. It’s doing your bidding. Energy is fragmented into “characters” with their own voices. I think it’s fundamentally more egoic and dualistic, in that there’s this ever-present contrast of one energy vs another.

Regarding Steerage orientation, what’s happening feels mysterious and like it’s coming from “outside”. It feels like surrendering to God and doing Its bidding. You’ve let go of control and life becomes like a constant test of whether you can stay in that state, no matter what happens. A test of whether you trust in God or not.

Your orientation depends on your maturity and state of consciousness. With the rising in consciousness, a person moves closer towards being Steerage oriented. But it definitely takes time. I recommend first becoming really aware of the energetic reality, its dynamics, and learning how to “work” with it. Once you see it clearly and have your lessons learned, it’s much easier to move on to Steerage orientation. I think the top lessons from understanding energy dynamics are the groundwork for starting a consistent journey with Steerage.

Your orientation will also affect what’s actually happening in reality. Though it’s not like following Steerage will necessarily result in “good” outcomes all the time. “Negative” experiences will still happen and they’ll test your surrender. I think the best way to describe it is that reality will unfold more optimally. What’s optimized is growth in consciousness.

You might notice that many of my posts are from an energy-centered perspective and many are from Steerage-centered. That’s right. I’m currently between two worlds. I’m allowing myself to be multifaceted though so I am fine with expressing both perspectives. And it’s not like the insights about energy are false – they’re simply a lower level of truth. In the future, I’ll probably move away from the energy-centered perspective.

  • You Are a Hivemind

There is truth to seeing yourself as a hivemind. Or at least the energetic reality of you.

There’s so many voices inside of you fighting for attention. True spiritual battles of characters, all happening inside your mind. Think of a recent time when you were torn between two options – what do you imagine was happening in your head? Your fate was being decided through hard-fought battle, and what you ultimately “chose” was the result of an energy that won.

There’s real outcomes to these battles – whoever wins in a given moment gets to be manifested. The prize for winning is having an influence on reality. Becoming real. Which is what everyone wants.

What happens in your life is determined by what direction this energetic collective goes in. Any decision you make is a direct result of some energy “winning”. Without energy, nothing moves. Every action you perform stems from energy, without exception.

But since this energetic collective is ultimately made of one substance, we can also think of it as just one Energy, changing frequency or something. As always: both many and one. We’re just playing with perspective here, trying to grasp something that’s invisible and not easily understood.

  • Allow Yourself to Be Multifaceted

Sometimes there’s different energies in you at a given period, each pulling in its own direction. Allow yourself to be multifaceted and express them all at different times. You don’t have to be consistent and always follow only one, even if it feels like the energies “contradict” each other. Allow for contradictions. You can be complex – be one thing in one moment and another thing in the next. It’s okay to be like that.

Being consistent is overrated. Be a multifaced god without shame. Embrace your many-sidedness.

  • Being a Bro to Yourself Across Time

It’s nice to be a homie for yourself across time. It’s when you e.g. do something now that future you will benefit from, and then you appreciate yourself for that in the future. You’re like: “thanks for that man, good to have you around”.

Or when you arrive at some situation repeatedly in your life and you recognize the comradery with yourself in that. It’s like: “here again, huh? Come join the club!”. This can be most easily established if you have a ritual (daily, weekly, etc.) at a set place and time. You sense that you’re joined by past versions of you at that same spot again and again. The more you do it, the larger the community of you grows. ;)

You can literally feel companionship with yourself. Isn’t that crazy?

I call it being intertemporal. It’s being aware of yourself across time and treating this “whole you” with respect. In contrast, having the attitude of “that’s future me’s problem” is being not intertemporal and a jerk to yourself. Don’t be that.

Do things that future you(s) will thank you for. Appreciate the past you(s) for what they led you to. And if you don’t like what you were led to, break the chain now. Start making choices that future you(s) will appreciate. It’s current you on whom the responsibility always rests to change.

In truth, there’s only ever now so this whole concept is a bit wacky, but 1) there’s still truth to it in terms of right conduct in life and 2) it’s fun. Be a little playful with yourself, cuz what else is there to do?

  • Strive to Recognize People’s Strengths More

The golden rule: Treat others as you would want to be treated.

Set an example of being attentive, caring and recognizing people’s strengths. Be more of what you’d like to see in the world. It can start with you.

It’s actually fun to look for people’s strengths. There’s beauty in everyone and when you dig long enough (through listening to them and observation), you are sure to find a gem. A trait that you can genuinely appreciate and learn from. It’s a cool game to play: striving to see at least one beautiful thing in every person you know.

Everyone is God and it’s a blessing.

  • Be Around People That Recognize your Strength

Sometimes your close people will notice strength in you that you yourself didn’t see before.

It’s a gift to have people around you who are attentive, perceptive and caring. Shoutout to my sister! I love you.

Consider leaving relationships in which you’re unseen, unheard and unappreciated. It’s a drain that isn’t worth your time.

  • Forgive Yourself for Delusionality

Notice your delusionality. How you start thinking that things will go a certain way. How you force yourself into things because you’re just sure that it’s what you want now. How you become engrossed in the narratives you spin.

Bring that to awareness again and again. You’re constantly delusional and you can’t seem to change it. It must be frustrating. Cry it out if you feel like it.

There comes a point when you stop judging it though. You understand it in yourself and feel compassion for others who are like it.

If you made mistakes from delusion, have mercy on yourself and let the regret go. It couldn’t have happened differently. There’s nothing to do but learn from it and surrender it.

Forgive yourself. Forgive yourself for poor choices. Forgive yourself for delusionality.

In truth, all your choices were loved. Because they happened. And Reality is Love.

  • Be Conscious of Your Actual Relationship with Steerage

How much are you actually following Steerage in Reality and letting it materialize?

No pressure. You don’t need to change anything now. Just become conscious of what’s true.

For me, in terms of doing it consciously, I feel like it’s <1% of waking life. For someone talking about Steerage so much that can be shameful to admit. I had a 3-month period when I was consciously maybe reaching 10%. In the last month or so, on some days the share may have been 1-3%.

In regard to assessing unconscious Steerage following, you can do that case-by-case by remembering particular things you did and looking into what motivated you. If the answer is your mind “glitching” and trying to compute something that it truly can’t, it was probably Steerage.

Just be honest with yourself about how much you’re actually embracing God. Sensing the possibility of following Steerage/God is the first step, but what matters is actually surrendering to it. Take the leap!

  • On Energetic Belief

What you energetically believe in materializes. You allow the energies you’re convinced by to act through you. What you’re not convinced by cannot be and is never manifested through you.

But what is energetic belief, essentially? What does it mean to “buy into” an energy?

It means that you’re convinced of its validity = of its TRUTH. That is REALITY according to you. You think that it’s how things are and how YOU are, so you consider it sacred, you invite it into yourself, you want to be devoted to it and you want to BE IT by letting it act through you. In short, you always want to give yourself away to your idea of YOU.

Anything you’re inviting into yourself to and allowing to act through you is your personal god. So, who are your gods? And how much do they align with God/Reality in front of you? Are they even remotely similar?

Notice how Steerage is silent and guides you simply through action in Reality. That should be a clue to whether it’s closer to Reality/God than the various loud and dense energies you buy into and constantly choose.

Sigh, I wouldn’t be such a dummy if I had God as my only god. Regretfully I still have multiple. And if most people had God as their only god, there’d be Heaven on Earth.
