  • There Is Always a Third Way

Sometimes we can get caught up in the duality of choice when making life decisions – either X or Y. This can ensue when the mind tries to control what’s happening and feels obliged to make choices by itself.

And this can feel very stressful. You feel extreme pressure from 1) not knowing what to do but insisting that you should know and 2) being locked in a limited range of options.

The feeling of pressure is completely understandable, but fortunately it’s based on false assumptions. You have to realize that it’s not your call. The reality of you (and what you want) is what is here already. There is no choice to make – it’s already made! The real work is to accept it, face the emotional difficulty, surrender and go to where the reality is. Steerage/Guidance will move you there, if you let it.

And Steerage will often move you into a third path, one you couldn’t have conceived on your own. Not necessarily a middle one – maybe a different one altogether.

The secret is that there is ALWAYS a third path. There is always the way of God, which you can proceed with being led through at any moment. God creates a path where there is none and walks you through it.

If that’s not Hope, I don’t know what is!

  • Never Give Up

No matter what happens, there is ALWAYS hope.

Problems and states that feel inescapable are never actually that. You have to trust in the truth of impermanence. There’s power in you to go through anything and leave it behind you. Nothing ever sticks to you forever.

Remember your power. Have confidence in yourself. You have it in you to make it, and you’re always supported. There is Infinity in the place of your head and your Godhood is a gift. You were made to persevere.

  • The Truth of Hope

It’s not true that what you specifically hope for will always come to reality.

But it is true that everything will always be okay in the end. That no matter what is happening, you are able to live through. That reality goes on and you can always come to terms with it. And even when you lose everything, there is still hope. A light at the end of the tunnel.

Have faith in what’s true. Hope is one of these things. Let it be your north star.

    You can be Hope incarnate.

  • There’s So Much Pain to Live Through

Suffering due to breakups, loss of loved ones, failures, health problems, guilt, shame, shattering of illusions and collapse of worldview, fear, attachment.

The full scope of pain throughout one’s life is incomprehensible. Imagine the intensity of taking it all at once.

Life goes on in spite of the suffering though. There’s so much beauty to live through, too. The journey is worth it, even if it’s hard to feel like it sometimes. Keep your chin up and keep going. I have faith in you.
