  • Be Conscious of Hyping Yourself Up to Change

Sometimes you might notice yourself hyping yourself up in the direction of something you want to get to. It’s like you want to speed up your development process by insisting a thing on yourself.

It may feel harmless when you’re insisting on something “good” and positive. Let’s say you’re past a bad breakup which you haven’t fully processed yet and you’re saying to yourself: “We don’t need them! We’re good by ourselves, it’s going to be amazing! I am feeling just fine right now!”.

But maybe you’re not feeling fine and you do in fact feel like you need them. It’s better to come back to just acknowledging reality again and again, instead of forcing something that’s not yet the case.

Watch out for telling yourself things like:

    • “Everything is fine. I’m going to be alright!” – when you’re severely emotionally distressed.
    • “I do want to find a new job! I do want to earn more! It’s entirely possible for me!” – when you feel zero actual motivation to look for a new job and nothing is being done by you in reality.
    • “I will find myself a new girlfriend! I am worthy! It’s certain that I will meet the right person eventually!” – when you’re feeling unworthy, lonely, needy and desperate deep inside.

Notice the discrepancy between what’s insisted vs the reality.

Hyping something up doesn’t make it true. You can’t force change into existence. The only path to real growth is through loving and embracing what is currently the case – only then will the truth about you morph into something new.

  • You Are God, but You’re Not Special

It’s true that you are God, and that what’s happening now is ALL there is. Verify this by awakening your consciousness to this fact, e.g. through intense meditation retreats, yoga or psychedelics.

But beware of your ego hijacking this understanding. You are NOT special. You’re not smarter than others. You’re not some sort of messiah.

In fact, others will very often be smarter than you. Because guess what? They are Reality/God. And God is always above you. (Both this and being God is true.)

So don’t fall into the delusion that it’s about you personally. Because it’s not. But also… it kind of is.

  • To Feel Power, Align Yourself With It

You don’t really “get” power. You align yourself with where it is.

In personal life, aligning with power means allowing your genuine desires/will to move you. When trying to force something that is not real, you are powerless.

In politics, aligning with power means channeling the will of the people. You get elected when you represent what moves them. This is why politicians must have an keen sense of the mood of their base and play into it.

Move to where power (energy) is and you have it.

  • Laughing at Lower Consciousness Is Normal

Laughter is a natural impulse in the face of typical behaviour of a consciousness state that you are above of in the moment. When you’re genuinely in higher consciousness, the mechanical conduct of a lower state will amuse you.

This is why the limited behaviour of animals can often makes us laugh. “Aww, it’s so stupid!”. It’s why when I sometimes come across a person very narrowly-minded and ideological (no matter what ideas), I cannot help but laugh inside. It’s also why sketches/cartoons like Mr. Bean or Looney Tunes (eg. Road Runner vs Wile E. Coyote) are funny. The coyote is so obsessed and narrowly focused on the road runner that his actions become entirely counter-productive, which is what often happens in lower consciousness.

Every being is greatly intelligent and this can always be appreciated, but it’s also true that beings are in different states of consciousness and some are higher than others. And when you see “dumb” less conscious behaviour, you’re likely to have an impulse of laughter to it. And that’s alright.

  • Be in Action Most of the Time

Use most of your each day for the active release of energy.

Whenever an energy/motivation arises to do something, go with it. No matter what it is. And when there’s nothing arising, be quiet and don’t distract yourself. Something will come about eventually.

It’s a surefire way to get closer and closer to your goals everyday.

Don’t spend your prime time doing bullshit and consuming content. You can have some of that when you’re used up for the day in the evening.

  • There Is Always a Third Way

Sometimes we can get caught up in the duality of choice when making life decisions – either X or Y. This can ensue when the mind tries to control what’s happening and feels obliged to make choices by itself.

And this can feel very stressful. You feel extreme pressure from 1) not knowing what to do but insisting that you should know and 2) being locked in a limited range of options.

The feeling of pressure is completely understandable, but fortunately it’s based on false assumptions. You have to realize that it’s not your call. The reality of you (and what you want) is what is here already. There is no choice to make – it’s already made! The real work is to accept it, face the emotional difficulty, surrender and go to where the reality is. Steerage/Guidance will move you there, if you let it.

And Steerage will often move you into a third path, one you couldn’t have conceived on your own. Not necessarily a middle one – maybe a different one altogether.

The secret is that there is ALWAYS a third path. There is always the way of God, which you can proceed with being led through at any moment. God creates a path where there is none and walks you through it.

If that’s not Hope, I don’t know what is!

  • Do Things for Fun

Essentially, doing something for fun means doing it for it’s own sake. Not with the intent to achieve a secondary goal.

What do you want to do just because? What are you being guided towards?

Some examples of what personally feels like fun for me:

    • Doing the work in romantic love, resolving conflicts with a partner, going through tests of character, getting to know myself
    • Going on walks in nature to wind down, talking to Reality to release tension, cleansing myself from hardship
    • Having small-talk with strangers, flirting with women, being in my own energy in public
    • Cycling, playing badminton, doing bicep curls at the gym, cardio
    • Coming up with ideas for topics & writing this blog <3
    • Exploring new places in an active way

I think the goal is to surrender into Steerage so much that you enjoy doing basically anything. You’re not doing things for a secondary goal when you’re not controlling anything in your mind. You’re just going with where Guidance throws you.

Life feels richer when you do more things just for doing them.

  • Dress How You Feel Looks Cool

What do you think looks good on you? Try things on yourself and observe your reactions.

This comes back to being curious about who you are again. Listen to yourself. Observe what quietly excites you when you see it.

Sometimes you need to give yourself a bit more time to assess the genuine feeling. Your eyes might have to get used to what they’re looking at.

Discover your real taste and let it flourish.

  • The All-Embracing Scope of Death

People usually think that when they die, the world will still go on. This is foolish.

You ARE the world. When you die, EVERYTHING is taken. The entire dream is over. Nothing stays, because in truth there’s nothing beyond YOU.

Not only do all specific people go, but also everything we usually take for granted – like colour, flowers, humans, birds, sound, thinking, manyness, sense.

God/Reality/Consciousness is Eternal. But how It’s manifesting isn’t. NOTHING at all is permanent. EVERYTHING dies, including what we consider the most basic.

So don’t take anything for granted. Appreciate it all while it’s here.

  • Face Your Death Repeatedly

A man must face his death every once in a while in order to grow in life profoundly.

There’s nothing like death that immediately brings to the surface what’s most meaningful to you. There’s nothing like it to light a fire under your ass.

There’s two good and safe ways to face death:

    • Visualization. REALLY feel into the fact that you’re going to die, see it clearly in your mind’s eye. What comes up? Do you wish to do things differently in your life?
    • Psychedelics. When you go deep enough, you will face your death. It’ll be the real deal.

Never cause any harm to your body. Don’t put yourself in real danger. And with psychedelics, do your research & be extremely responsible and cautious. Never do anything stupid that you’ll regret later.

  • You Are an Illusion

You don’t exist. It’s all happening without your input.

  • Seize the Energetic Opportunities

Whenever an energy/motivation arises in the mind to do something, it’s an opportunity. If it’s beautiful, take it on! Don’t let it go to waste.

Opportunities are fleeting. Seize them while you have the chance. Learn to act quick in life, so that opportunities don’t pass you by.

A man appreciates the preciousness of opportunities and so is vigilant and ready to act on them.

  • Advice You Give Should Best Be Embodied

Often times we advise people things we’d like to internalize ourselves. We think that something is true and that we should be that. But maybe it’s not true. You don’t know until you actually embody it.

You can have misguided ideas about what’s true and insist on internalizing something false and stupid. And then also go and advise that to others. You can have truthful ideas as well, of course – but the main point is that you can’t know their truth until you live them out.

It’s best to stick to Reality. What are you actually doing? Does it work? Have you confirmed it? You can base your advice reliably on that.

  • Steerage Will Take Advantage of Your Unawareness Sometimes

Sometimes the beautiful flow of right action will bypass your conscious awareness and start doing its thing before your analytical mind even has a chance to react. And it’s a good thing.

It’s important to be mindful, but you don’t have to be too aware always. To the point where you’re not letting yourself enter flow. Sometimes too much awareness can actually be an impediment, especially if you often intend to control and limit what’s being expressed.

Be conscious when it’s time for it, otherwise give yourself away. Best case to what’s quiet but real – Steerage/Guidance. :)

  • If You Want to Feel Stuck, Accept It

Sometimes you can feel stuck and realize that you don’t even want to unstuck yourself. You feel resistance towards it altogether. You’re tired, you’re stuck, you just don’t know what to do.

I understand this state. I’ve been in it myself many times. It can feel like there’s no way out because you feel like you don’t even want to resolve it.

First, you can accept that you’re in that state. How about you relax and just love it? At least for a moment – see it for what it is and accept it. Get the feeling that it’s okay and that you don’t need to change it.

Second, this whole situation is probably making you feel frustrated. In that case, express the frustration to Reality/God and cry it out. Vent the entire thing – you can even scream into a pillow. Do it until there’s nothing left. You will probably feel much lighter after you do so.

Give yourself space. You will get through it.
